Rahul Inquired MP and UP ministers for development in their Region

Around year ago Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi had a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for Rs 8,000-crore bill for the growth of the backward Bundelkhand district that contains 13 areas of UP (Utter Pradesh) and MP (Madhya Pradesh).

Union cabinet approved Rs 7,266-crore for the area in last November; however, issues begun flooding at Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi's workplace that the funds was not reaching the planned goals.

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi's hard work had led to the Centre approving a exclusive package for Bundelkhand previous year.

Previous week MLAs of congress from Madhya Pradesh did meeting with Rahul Gandhi and reported the issue of indiscretions in the execution of the funds. They also persisted on the requirement for stern watching of schemes.

On Thursday annoyed Rahul Gandhi inquired AICC general secretary B.K. Hariprasad. He is accountable for funds in MP. Rahul also inquired with MPCC president Suresh Pachauri and asked them to visit Bundelkhand and confirm the mistreatment claimed money.

B.K. Hariprasad came back to Delhi after examining the wrongdoing. He exposed that issues of mistreatment of money in minimum five regions of Madhya Pradesh had awaken to light and the people required a mid monitoring commission to oversee the growth actions.

Resources also explained the state BJP administration leaders and their relations were drawing off the finances.

There was another issue reported regarding incorrect assembly rolls on the NREGA and false expenses on jungle-linked schemes.

Mr. B. K. Hariprasad added comment regarding demanding that selected legislature of the district be taken into assurance before chalking out strategies for growth. They said they desire a central monitoring commission to care for the growth plans and implemented work. Congress MPs also asked Nagar Panchayat to be integrated in the particular package.

Complete report has been ready on the subject and is probably to be suggested to Congress Head Sonia Gandhi and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi in a day or two.

Tamil Nadu model is better than Modi’s Gujarat model, Rahul Gandhi says

RAMANATHAPURAM: Lauding the Tamil Nadu model as better than the Gujarat model, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said he was happy that Congress was fighting the elections alone in Tamil Nadu and hoped the party would capture power in the state in 2016. Addressing a public meeting to seek votes for the party candidate S Thirunavukkarasar at coastal Ramanathapuram district a day before election campaigning comes to an end in the state, Rahul hit out at BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for projecting Gujarat as an ideal state. Rahul heaped praises on Tamil Nadu's development. "Tamil Nadu has shown what Tamil people are capable of. Modi talks about Gujarat model. Maybe, he should come here and take a look at TN model" Rahul said. Rahul said that the country "does not need a government that makes Hindus fight Muslims." Lok Sabha polls: Campaign gets personal; Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi attack at each other

NEW DELHI | MUMBAI: Toffee, Tata and Ambedkar entered 2014's campaign lexicon on Monday as Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi intensified what's already become a virtual competition of personal attacks. Adding to this were similar attacks on rivals by other leaders of both parties. Gandhi's targeting of Modi, which resulted in Tatas being named in political attacks for the first time this poll season, seemed more dramatic, as it persists in naming big companies. But so far at least, pundits in finance, marketing and academia don't see such a strategy change delivering major benefits for Congress. Gandhi, continuing his attack on Modi and India Inc, named Tatas in addition to Adani and termed Modi's policies as a 'toffee model'. "You get a toffee at Rs 1, but Modi gave away 44,000 acre at Rs 1 (per) sq m," Gandhi said. "This is not Gujarat model, this is toffee model." On Tatas, Gandhi said, "Tata can get a loan for 20 yea...
