Rahul in Kanpur: Meet the workers

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is having two day visit to Utter Pradesh on December 7 and December 8. He will interact with workers of this industrial city, Kanpur. He will meet rickshaw pullers, labours working in many companies or to the giving local city services. this information is provided by the Union coal minister Mr. Prakash Jaiswal.

He will listen to these workers problems and will give the solution to their problems. Rahul is also having plan to meet the youth leaders of the city and to the young businessmen of the cities.

Kanpur is industrial capital of UP and its also know as workers city.

Rahul might meet the cadidates for 2012 election from the city and will suggest and guide the plan of elections during the meeting.

TUMKUR: AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a strong pitch for women's empowerment at his rally on Sunday, and said it's the only way for the country to become a superpower. Addressing a women's rally at Tumkur, 70km from Bangalore, Rahul said the country today was half a superpower because women had not been given equal status. "India will not become a superpower if women aren't given opportunities. We need equal representation for women at all levels to make them empowered," he told a mammoth gathering.
