Visit of Rahul Gandhi to Chennai.


Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is having visit Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) in Chennai. He is expected to visit Wednesday for coming elections in Tamil Nadu. These are youth congress election.
The full congress party is in the preparation of his visit. The exercise of local officers has begun in Chennai. His meeting is at 300 away place from Trichy. He is really keen to see the party performance in the state as he is not satisfied with the recital of party. Local police is in the arrangement of Rahul Gandhi and they have been informed about his visit. This could be his surprise visit Tamil Nadu. Second time he is visiting to Chennai, the last three day visit was in the last year September.
His main moto for the visit to gather the youth and encourage them to enter in the congress party. The big thing to notice about his last visit was he gathered around 1.3 million members last year. That was his big achievement in south India.

TUMKUR: AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a strong pitch for women's empowerment at his rally on Sunday, and said it's the only way for the country to become a superpower. Addressing a women's rally at Tumkur, 70km from Bangalore, Rahul said the country today was half a superpower because women had not been given equal status. "India will not become a superpower if women aren't given opportunities. We need equal representation for women at all levels to make them empowered," he told a mammoth gathering.
