Another Visit of Rahul Gandhi to Amethi

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will carry out a two day journey to Amethi, UP for parliamentary electorate. This visit will be conducted on July 19, 2010.

“Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will go to numerous villages and evaluate execution of centrally sponsored plans together with MNREGA, rustic electrification and female’s growth scheme in the area,” said by party sources on last Saturday.

On day number two of visit to Amethi, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will go to Sanjay Gandhi sanatorium, this is the latest update received by party sources.

First time Congress general Secretary Rahul Gandhi is visiting to Amethi after Mayawati government, early on this month. This complete Amethi Lok Sabha electorate region is named as Chhatrapati Shahuji  Maharaj Nagar. It is novel region and it contains divisions of Sultanpur and Rae Bareli areas.

TUMKUR: AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a strong pitch for women's empowerment at his rally on Sunday, and said it's the only way for the country to become a superpower. Addressing a women's rally at Tumkur, 70km from Bangalore, Rahul said the country today was half a superpower because women had not been given equal status. "India will not become a superpower if women aren't given opportunities. We need equal representation for women at all levels to make them empowered," he told a mammoth gathering.
