Visit of Leh to help flash flood of Leh

On last Monday Congress general Secretary Rahul Gandhi visits to Leh before Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit of Tuesday. Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and State Minister of Defence Mr. M Raju on visited Leh in Srinagar on Monday, where 183 people were died and more than 100 relocated in flash floods prior to the present month.

Escorted by Raju and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi reached the relocated people in relief camps and the wounded people in sanatoriums. Rahul poised the people in relief camp that Congress party and United Progressive Alliance administration would do any possible thing to provide all type of support. Tourism Minister of State Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora signifies Leh in the congregation, acted as predictor for the guests.

Resources passages Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi as said that PM Shri Manmohan Singh would be reaching to the Leh on Tuesday and the citizens must not dither to describe their troubles to PM. Manmohan Singh and the government would do all possible things to help. Rahul Gandhi and leader also assumed an in-flight inspection of the regions hit by flashfloods.

Minister of Defence representative Lt. Col. J.S. TUMKUR: AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a strong pitch for women's empowerment at his rally on Sunday, and said it's the only way for the country to become a superpower. Addressing a women's rally at Tumkur, 70km from Bangalore, Rahul said the country today was half a superpower because women had not been given equal status. "India will not become a superpower if women aren't given opportunities. We need equal representation for women at all levels to make them empowered," he told a mammoth gathering.
