Rahul Gandhi: Change in political structure is required


Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi spoke to media on Saturday at Aurangabad. He said “clean political system must now so that incident of additional collector Yashwant Sonawane murder should not happen again.” This is the recent incident which is really the shameful thing for us that Mr. Sonawane, who sat on fire on January 25 because he caught an entire group of people, concerned in fuel stealing and mixing in Manmad.

It is a nearby place of Narisk and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is on the three day visit of Maharashtra. He said “Bilateral approach is essential now, that mean somebody has to lead the nation to stop the corruption so that such incidents can be controlled and can be wiped out. A clean political system is required now, and that is only possible if we all contribute to our nation with honesty. Corrective measures should be taken for selecting the leaders”.

According to Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi a six-month deadline should be affixed to ensure that case’s connected to corruption get settled ASAP. Rahul was escorted by chief minister Prithviraj Chavan, kicked off the tour of CM on Thursday with a planned family meeting in Gadchiroli. Rahul went to Dhule and Shirdi after the conference, and there he attended a young women’s gathering on Friday.
Rahul is upset with the performance and the way political parties are working at such places. He took potshots at the present political structure.

TUMKUR: AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a strong pitch for women's empowerment at his rally on Sunday, and said it's the only way for the country to become a superpower. Addressing a women's rally at Tumkur, 70km from Bangalore, Rahul said the country today was half a superpower because women had not been given equal status.
