Rahul Gandhi to go to Goa on coming March 3, 2011

Congress general secretary and the Indian Youth Congress leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi is planned a trip to Goa on March 3, 2011. This tour is of one day and start from Margao in Goa. Rahul will reach Goa as part of his countrywide trip to meet and work together with young Congress members throughout the India.

However, the places are yet not finalized for visit of Rahul Gandhi it might be go together with general secretary of Goa B K Hariprasad. Older Youth Congress leaders in Goa thought Rahul Gandhi will start an association to handle the Youth Congress in Goa in picture the inner elections of youth Congress.

Congress resources believed the Goa gathering follows comparable meeting and a membership make a Youth Congress in Kerala newly. The recent launch of Youth Congress in Maharashtra is also asking for young leaders to join the Congress.

TUMKUR: AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi made a strong pitch for women's empowerment at his rally on Sunday, and said it's the only way for the country to become a superpower. Addressing a women's rally at Tumkur, 70km from Bangalore, Rahul said the country today was half a superpower because women had not been given equal status. "India will not become a superpower if women aren't given opportunities. We need equal representation for women at all levels to make them empowered," he told a mammoth gathering.
